Movement & The Moon is a dream to help connect people together through two main interests - Movement & Stargazing.
What connects the two? A brain of one girl who wants to find her way of doing good in the world while sharing her passions.
The Concept
Events organised combining various domains of Movement & Stargazing.
Each event’s program is built by a group of friends who share their passion for different types of movement (handstands, mobility, yoga, calisthenics, functional movement, tricking, hiking, running etc.). At night, some of us stargaze, if we want to.
The idea is to come together as a group of people and share quality time. Each event’s program is built individually with the specific participants in mind.
Everyone is welcome to contribute as well as participate in any shared activities. You can come and just be. We cook together and eat well. We relax. Make fire.
-
Anyone. The only prerequisite is to be kind and respectful. If you hate people this might not be the type of event for you :)
If you are an introvert however and these events are overwhelming, there is no pressure to be running around and “mingling” with everyone.
My goal and commitment here is to create a very easy, genuine atmosphere and ensure it doesn’t feel forced in any way.
-
Me and my friends - sports teachers, athletes (calisthenics, yoga, mobility, weight lifting, tricking, functional movement etc.).
-
Somewhere in Swiss mountains.
Location will be selected for each event depending on number of participants and many other aspects.
My vision is to try and select the location in a way that in case you meet your new best friend in the event, you can meet for coffee few weeks later without having to commute :)
The Philosophy
All I wish for this is to create a space for people to connect - either through a passion they already have in their life or while discovering a new one. What I don’t want is for it to feel pushed in any way.
The only one tho - sitting in a circle by fire at 9PM sharp will be compulsory. You also must sing and play. (disclaimer: that was a joke - if you didn’t get it you failed the test, please leave the site immediately)
